Before being worn for the first time, or if it has stopped,an automatic watch must be wound manually in order to function correctly and precisely. 

To wind the watch manually, turn the crown clockwise 30 times while it is in its normal position (position 1) until you feel resistance.A minimum of 30 turns is required for adequate partial winding. 

The automatic watch should be worn at least 8 hours daily. If not, it will lose time or stop entirely. You've to manually wind it again
